| hey all...
i just added a song that i wrote in my audio section. check it out if you want =)
| i was just skimming through my old posts and i realized...
i can be so very dramatic!!! whoa!!! drama queen!! i guess that's how i felt at the moment, but going back and reading them makes me realize how others not in my shoes (or near me) might be seeing it. whoa!!!
| whoa!!
i don't remember writing that last post. i thought i hadn't post for months and months. apparently, it was only 3 months. which is still a lot. what to say... i'm not even sure who read these anymore. i sure don't (i apologize to all those that actually read my blog =)...i also apologize to all those that spend time and thought in writing blogs and i hope ppl read yours!! =).
so...the summer's almost over. i can't believe it. although for those of you who have "actual jobs" you don't know what a summer is =). he he. so, this year i got an actual summer job. yeah for a schedule (even a semi-stressful one) and yeah for more income!! =). so, for 5 weeks i played piano for dance classes. it's basically an intensive summer dance camp for kids ages 11-21 (or so...i don't remember the actual ages). they bring in instructors from around the U.S. and the kids stay for either the first 2 weeks, the last 3 weeks, or all 5 weeks. it was really fun!! and definitely a learning experience. i had never even seen a dance class before, and now i was participating in one (albeit, not dancing!! =). the hardest part was how mentally attentive i had to be for 3-6 hours a day. i had to choose appropriate music for each exercise; and i had to choose it on the spot. eventually, it got so i would know approximately what kind of music to choose...but to be that mentally focused for that long is kinda stressful. i also had to play for modern dance which is a different animal than ballet...i still don't have the best grip of it. that was stressful too because it was totally totally new. at least for ballet, i could use a lot of classical music as well as some broadway tunes. modern was hard to find music for. for one teacher, i ended up improvising the whole class for all of her classes!! that was stressful because i'm not that comfortable with improvising.
anyways...all in all, it was very fun, very informative, and very rewarding. and i have a new appreciation for dancers!! so much strength goes into dancing that i knew, but didn't really understand before. it is so amazing!! i might try to take some dance classes this school year =). we'll see...
anyways...that's part of my summer...
| once again, it's been awhile since my last update, huh? =)
i just logged on again and skimmed over that last entry and realized that fluid relationships seem to be a theme as of late (well...last few months i guess). not many events or specifically blatant events...just a few things. hmm...interesting.
now, graduation is going on here at Whitman. and the atmosphere is that of change and endings and some meloncholy. i seem to be picking up on the vibe a little, feeling a little lost and meloncholy myself. more specifically, i'm missing a certain someone...someone with whom i have a seemingly fluid relationship. it's a little hard, and i wish i had more time, but it's not as if we won't see each other again.
anyways...i'm just rambling now, especially since i am writing this while watching Star Trek: Voyager. so, i guess i'll stop trying to multitask and write again (maybe =) later.
now...back to Voyager!! =)
